- Send layered art if future changes will be required.
No files in an incorrect format will be accepted.
Acceptable file formats are:
- Photoshop PDF, TIFF, JPEG (High res 300+dpi and
text must be flattened)
- Illustrator PDF, AI, EPS - Version 10 or below
(all text must be in outlines and CMYK pictures embedded)
- Acrobat PDF (With embedded fonts, images, color
profile in High Res Press quality)
Only one ad per file. All high-resolution images and
fonts must be included when the PDF/X1a file is saved.
Only use Type 1 Fonts - No TrueType fonts or Font Substitutions.
Images must be TIFF, PDF or EPS between 300 and 400
dpi. Total area density should not exceed SWOP 300%
TAC. No RGB images. Do not nest EPS file into other
EPS files. Do not embed ICC Profiles within images.
All required image trapping must be included in the
file(s). Right Reading, Portrait Mode, 100% Size, No
rotations. Standard Trim, bleed and center marks in
all separations, 1/2" outside trim. (No marks included
in the "live" image area). Although vector
PDF files are preferred, raster PDF files (for example
PDF2Go), will be accepted. The Line Work resolution
for Raster PDF files must be 2400dpi. The Continuous
Tone resolution for Raster PDF files must be 300dpi.
- Davie & The Ranches Express is not responsible
for changing fonts or changes in image colors.
- All black text must 100% black.
- NO CMYK black text will be accepted.

The front cover
offers a client high visibility for themselves and their
business. This is sold by reservation only for the month
intended and paid in advance to insure placement. Story
and photo are included to equal 1/2 of a page; this
inclusive package has proven itself over and over, as
a marketing success story.
Please note that
rates are locked in only when a signed contract is accompanied
by a deposit check. Otherwise rates can change due to
printing, gas or postage increases.
