Judy Paul

Judy Paul has been serving the Town of Davie as the District 4 Councilmember since 1998. She retired from the Broward School System in 2002 when she turned 62 to enjoy travel and quiet time, but time constraints due to the increased number of workshops, meetings and pressures of her Town Council duties have limited her anticipated travel time. Judy did manage to get in a long anticipated trip to Alaska, a visit to the new Museum of Native Americans in Washington, DC, Farm Bureau conferences in St. Augustine and Nashville and a fabulous July 4th weekend in Las Vegas.

Judy's life is consumed by her love of animals. Her horses, cats, birds and best buddy Two Step share their home with twelve squirrels, a family of racoons, and a marvelous array of wild birds and butterflies. There are days when stress is released by just observing the hawk on the back fence or the monarch caterpillars devouring every inch of a milkweed plant. Life on her west Davie acre is an escape from the traffic, noise pollution and overdevelopment that surrounds her.
